Some Will Never Die, 6/12/18

Genesis 5:24

And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

(So Enoch never died.)

2 Kings 2:11

Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

(And Elijah never died.)

Psalm 118:17

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

(So we can declare that we shall not die.)

John 21:22-23

22 Jesus said to him, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.”

23 Then this saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?”

(So Jesus said he could will that someone would never die. He is God, so why not(Jer. 32:27)! It turns out that John never did die. Prophets who have been to heaven have been shown this.)

1 Corinthians 15:51-53

51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

(We shall not sleep, meaning not die. Do a study of the word “MOMENT” in verse 52. The original Greek word is ATOMOS. So it can be translated that we will be changed in our atoms.)

1 Thessalonians 4:15

For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.

(So some will remain alive through all of the Last Days clear through to the end.)

1 Thessalonians 4:17

Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

(He comes not to whisk us off to heaven far way but to set up his Kingdom here on earth and rule and reign over all creation, the whole universe, from his Holy City, Jerusalem.)

2 Timothy 1:10 New King James Version (NKJV)

10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,

(If Enoch and Elijah could never die before Jesus came and brought us the new and better covenant, how much more can we never die when Jesus has abolished death for us and brought us immortality!)

Some are called and destined in the Last Days to be beheaded for Christ. This is a glorious martyr’s death, very pleasing to the Lord. But some are called to live through all of the Great Tribulation and stand triumphant at the end, having recaptured a portion of the earth for Christ and presenting it back to him as he comes.

The True Prophet of God, Neville Johnson, teaches beautifully on this subject on Youtube: Parables of the Kingdom: The Sower.

This message from me is also on Youtube: Some Will Never Die.
