Some Women Of Stanford

I look at these lovely does

Halted by their huge fat shoes

My man's eye appreciates the beautiful flashing skin

But to drink in beauty with a pure heart

Is an art long in coming

And the mind that births it also poses its questions

Doesn't it just seem as though

They are trying so hard to feel beautiful?

Or are they testing men?

Unconsciously searching for eyes

Eyes that will search their souls

Undaunted by the power of Feminine beauty

Unleashed in all its fearsome wonder

Oh, how many are the daughters of confusion

Displaying too much in search of approval

Then hating the attention they attract

By revealing what ought to remain covered

Lost without the fatherly voice

Speaking the grace and wisdom of modesty
