God Is Not Playing, 6/2/15

God is Coming.

Many who are now preaching and praying for God to come will not be pleased with how he comes and will reject him. They want him to only ever be loving and gentle and never do what the needs to do in order to deal really with sin. One of the biggest preachers of this false, half-truth gospel is Bill Johnson of Bethel Church in Redding, CA, who preaches that "God is always in a good mood" as if he never becomes angry at sin. But John 2 tells us the story of how Jesus wove a whip and put it to the back of the pharisees who were misusing his Father's house:

John 2:13-17 New King James Version (NKJV)

Jesus Cleanses the Temple

13 Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14 And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business. 15 When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables. 16 And He said to those who sold doves, “Take these things away! Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!” 17 Then His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for Your house has eaten[a] Me up.”[b]

Bill Johnson and those like him will learn the meaning of this very soon as God come to clean up these very wayward churches. Those who have been presenting themselves to the world as spiritual leaders will be the first to get dealt with by God and the shaking is already beginning and will get more and more serious. Many pastors will lose their lives because they are so far from the truth. Some will drop dead in the pulpits denouncing other men of God who walk in truth, some will be murdered by members of their own congregations.

God most assuredly is love but that is not all he is, he is also fearsome and terrifying in his awesome holiness. Please read this prophetic Dark Cloud Dream which the Lord gave me last year about how he is coming soon and ask yourself if you are ready to meet him as he comes this way.

If you do not know Jesus as your Savior and King then pray this Prayer To Receive Eternal Salvation.

And if you know him but are not serving him with a whole heart then pray this Prayer Of Consecration.

I assure you that God is not playing in the season we are in, and we cannot afford to either. Bless you.
