Oroville Prophecy/Call To Repentance, 11/21/14
In the winter of 2001-2002, in a time of much fasting and prayer, God revealed to me some gloriously beautiful and hopeful details about the future of Oroville. What I was shown was specific to Oroville but It applies to the whole of Butte County to a certain extent. Since Oroville is the county seat of Butte Co., all the local governmental authority is there. This affects all the area by virtue of spiritual principle about authority. It follows from this that all of the communities in the county will prosper more as Oroville prospers. So I hope all of Oroville's neighbors will also welcome this word and pray accordingly for Oroville for the benefit of all the surrounding communities. These things I was shown are in the heart of the Father to bring to pass in the fullness of time as the body of Christ moves with the Holy Spirit to break the demonic strongholds that have heretofore held the community in the bondage it has been in. I have written several poems based on what God showed me, they are contained on the Oroville Poems page here on this site. I do not have any clear idea as to how long it will be until we see all this come into the natural but I can say that it is God’s plan for the future of the community. This means that the body of Christ can pray in agreement with this plan and as Daniel did when he found in the prophecies that the time had come when the children of Israel would be set free:

2 In the first year of [Darius'] reign I, Daniel, understood by the scriptures the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. 3 Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. 4 And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, “O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, 5 we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments. 6 Neither have we heeded Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings and our princes, to our fathers and all the people of the land. 7 O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us shame of face, as it is this day—to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, those near and those far off in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of the unfaithfulness which they have committed against You. “O Lord, to us belongs shame of face, to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, because we have sinned against You. 9 To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him.
So we see that Daniel saw in the prophetic scriptures that it was time for the prophesied release of the Israelites from Babylon and that he set about to pray in the promise. This passage holds many keys for us. First, this is a scriptural pattern of how we are to treat prophecy. We are not to just sit lazily and wait for the promise to be fulfilled but are to actively pray and move by faith to apprehend it. This passage also tells us how it is we are to pray for deliverance from bondage that has occurred due to the sins of past and present generations. We see that the prayers Daniel made were to confess and repent for the sins of the past and present generations of his people. This principle is clearly shown in verse 6 above and also in verses 8 and 16 of Chapter 9:

This holds a great key for bringing freedom. This kind of generational repentance cuts out the original roots of the sins that led of the bondage. This kind of prayer thereby cuts off the source of the sin in a person/family/community rather than just attacking the head that is produced by the roots. It is like turning off the valve instead of just trying to hold a kink in the hose. Thus we can expect, that with much tearful, heartfelt, sincere repentance for the past and present sins of Oroville, and adequate perseverance, the prophecy I am about to share with you will come to fruition. It is vital that we be realistic in understanding that at this time we are very far from this point and that in the meantime there will be a great deal of spiritual work that needs to be done to bring this to pass. This is especially true now that we are entering a season of judgment as God chastises our nation for our very great sin. He is judging us to turn us from a path of self-destruction and to teach us the right way to live:

With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
So we see that God judges out of love, to correct us from sin and teach us the righteousness that is what it best for us anyway. In seasons of judgment, not all repent and thus some perish. In these times all endure hardship but for those who repent and persevere, there is the great prize of a move of God. For those who repent in Oroville, that is what is ahead for the community. It is my prayer that all who read this will join in that worthy calling.
Very briefly, what God showed me is, that in the last days, God has chosen Oroville to be a city of refuge and a beacon of great beauty and healing to many pilgrims of the world who are seeking a godly peaceful community in which to live. But before I go into the details of what I was shown, first let me share some of the spiritual principles for why this will happen.
First and foremost, there is the obvious: that God has a plan to redeem all of his creation from the curse that came with Adam and Eve’s sin and all our sin since then, and to reveal his glory throughout all the world:

For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea.
But we know that not all of the earth will be a part of that portion that survives the devastation of the last days and passes though the fire into the millennium. So why would God choose Oroville to be a part of this contingent?
Compassion motivates the heart of our loving Father. He is well aware of how broken and rejected Oroville has been. The future of Oroville was sold to Satan by the early city fathers so that they could have her wealth, some of the finest gold in the world, in their time. This is not just a metaphorical thing but one that was carried out with full intention by men who consciously, actively worshiped Satan and wanted his ‘blessings.’ This kind of rebellion against God brings a curse:

The next 52 verses list all the curses that can come from disobedience to God. The list ends up the curse of going into slavery:

Oroville has suffered terribly from the curse that came on her from these deals with Satan that her early city fathers made. She has been poor and downtrodden, being made a butt of jokes for decades on end. She has and been looked down on by her own neighbors like Chico, out of whom there has come much rejection and criticism of Oroville. And there is slavery of many kinds in Oroville. There is slavery of many the poor to the welfare system in Oroville. And there is legalized slavery of people who fall behind the law by the courts of Butte Co.(more on this later). There is child trafficking by corrupt court officials and CPS. But God is love and his heart burns with compassion so he yearns to restore heal and bless Oroville and give her a life she never has had in the past. He knows what she has been through and he longs to break oppression off of her, restore her and bless her richly:

Than the children of the married woman,” says the Lord.

Lengthen your cords,
And strengthen your stakes.
3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left,
And your descendants will inherit the nations,
And make the desolate cities inhabited.
4 “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed;
Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame;
For you will forget the shame of your youth,
And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.
5 For your Maker is your husband,
The Lord of hosts is His name;
And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel;
He is called the God of the whole earth.
But keep in mind that, in order for God to do this great restoration and healing in Oroville, he must first purge her of her sin that has kept her in bondage. So it is important that we do not think that this will come without massive community-wide repentance for the way we have lived in Oroville so far.
Also, God deserves and desires to be glorified. He wants to demonstrate his glory to the world in undeniable ways that clearly point to him. Thus he is motivated to do things that would seem the most unlikely and impossible in the mind of carnal man. He has chosen Oroville as a place to reveal his glory because it is one of he last places on earth the world would expect to become a place that is sought after all over the earth. This is in keeping with scriptural principle:
1 Corinthians 1:27
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
Think of it this way. If Carmel or Palm Springs or Beverly Hills became better then God would not get much glory because they are already desirable communities in the eye of the world. But when Oroville, once known as “The Wickedest Little Town in the West” and perennially oppressed by corrupt local government, poor and considered a laughingstock, is turned into place that people want to visit from all over the world, then many will readily recognize that God did it and give him his due glory.
So those are some of the reasons that God’s heart is turned with compassion and desire to transform Oroville and make her the gem in the earth that he has always planned for her to become. Now let me tell you some of the details he showed me about how it will look. Please keep in mind that this is surely not all of the picture of what will come since I have only received my part that God shared with me to share with you:

Oroville will become a very respected center for healing. There will eventually be all types of holy approaches to healing that are pure and from the Father:

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
There will be supernatural healing: the miraculous, wonder working power of the Holy Spirit. There will be natural healing: nutrition, herbology, essential oils, etc. There will be energy medicine, etc. There will be the surgical arts, etc. All manner of good and holy methods of accomplishing healing within God’s holy boundaries will be at work in Oroville. This will make her desirable to the whole world as people will come to her from far and wide to be made whole from their various health issues. God created every patch of real estate on earth to have its own special gifts and anointings. There is an anointing in the land of Oroville for healing and it is the calling of he body of Christ to do the spiritual work of breaking the demonic strongholds that have kept it suppressed and to call it forth and develop it. There is much work to be done but it can be done if we yield to God’s plan and come agreement with it and do the work of the Kingdom to bring it about. But this starts with REPENTANCE for the very great sins of the community.
When God showed me all this I was not particularly surprised to learn that there would be great healing in Oroville. I had not expected it, but I was not totally floored by it. But this part did blow my mind. Oroville will be a great center of the arts, even the fine arts. There will be things like ballet, symphony, opera, museums, etc. things of very high-class culture. This too will attract people from all over the world and make Oroville a "City No Longer Deserted", but one that is "Sought After":

In the past Oroville has been rejected but God wants to marry the land in Oroville and bring the fullness of this Kingdom there:

Nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate;
But you shall be called Hephzibah,[a] and your land Beulah;[b]
For the Lord delights in you,
And your land shall be married.

And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,
So shall your God rejoice over you.
God loves Oroville!! He is aware of her struggle and he cares and wants to heal her. But it is up to us to move with him to repent and break free of the sins of the past and present and come into obedience to him so that we can receive the promised blessings. Repentance is the KEY! We cannot just pray, ”Oh God, come take over Oroville and do what you want here!” and expect him to fix everything while we refuse to change our ways. We are the problem. It is our sin that keeps the demonic strongholds in place. God wants this with all his heart but he cannot make it happen if we do not repent of our sins as a church and as a community. This thing is in OUR hands to do:

The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men.
But God is holy and cannot abide sin. So his Kingdom cannot come while we hold onto our sin. We have to admit that our sin is holding back God’s generous hand to heal us. Only when we turn from our sins can this great restoration come:

To let the oppressed go free,

Your healing shall spring forth speedily,
And your righteousness shall go before you;
The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

“If you take away the yoke from your midst,
The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,

And satisfy the afflicted soul,

And satisfy your soul in drought,
And strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden,

Do you see it? God gives us the way to be healed and restored by repenting and changing our ways but if we are not moving in that direction we can pray for God to come heal us all we want and it will not do a thing. Us repenting in word AND IN DEED is the answer to the prayer.
Right now, as it stands today, Oroville is still a very wicked little town in the west. She is still run by Satan worshipers. The Satanic cults, primarily the Freemasons, run Oroville and Butte Co.. The Freemasons are a Satanic/Luciferian cult wherein the top levels of the organization knowingly worship Lucifer as God. This is absolutely an indisputable fact, although in fairness, most of the members of the organizations do not know what goes on at the top levels. In downtown Oroville on the street level, on the front of the Masonic Temple building are the letters cut in stone: "A.L." for Anno Lucis. Anno Lucis: The Year of Light because they worship Lucifer, the Light Bearer. The Masons dominate the court system of Butte Co., of which we all know Oroville is the county seat. These courts are as oppressive as any in the state: perennially in the top two or three counties in the state for per-capita Prison Commitment Rates. This predatory court activity victimizes primarily the poor. That is terrible, horrible oppression. We have to repent from that. That is exactly the kind of oppression that Isaiah 58:6 (above) is saying needs to be repented from in order for restoration and healing to occur. But right now the body of Christ is very far short of doing that. In fact we have men who call themselves leaders in the body of Christ in Oroville who have overly friendly relationships with some of these corrupt county officials. This is profound spiritual compromise and there is no hope whatsoever for the community as a whole to begin to be free until these things are repented from.
These wayward spiritual leaders have made friends with the world in seeking to be in good favor with these corrupt local power players. But seeking friendship with the world makes one an enemy of God:
James 4:4
Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
This is part of why God is increasing his hand of judgment in Oroville. Because he loves her and has a great plan for her he has to purge the sin out of her so he can bring the plan I have told you of into fruition:

For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.
This process begins in the body of Christ:

17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
And within us it starts with those who are in spiritual authority. Until this deep heartfelt gut-wrenching repentance that God requires begins, we can look for things to be very rough in the circles of spiritual leadership in Oroville and throughout the country. Some leaders will not survive it. This is because God is showing the severe side of his nature now and not just his kindness, for he has both qualities:

God is serious about cleaning up his church and we have good scriptural precedent that demonstrates how severe he gets with corruption in the house of God:

Jesus Cleanses the Temple
13 Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14 And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business. 15 When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables. 16 And He said to those who sold doves, “Take these things away! Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!” 17 Then His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up.”
His zeal for his house is no less today than it was then so we would do very well not to hold onto our sin and force him to get out his whip.
After God has begun cleaning up his house, at some point he begins to clean up the government. His severity is powerfully manifested when he moves in this way, he is merciless to those who have shown no mercy to the downtrodden and poor and needy:

Who write misfortune,
Which they have prescribed
2 To rob the needy of justice,
And to take what is right from the poor of My people,
That widows may be their prey,
And that they may rob the fatherless.
3 What will you do in the day of punishment,
And in the desolation which will come from afar?
To whom will you flee for help?
And where will you leave your glory?
4 Without Me they shall bow down among the prisoners,
And they shall fall among the slain.”
For all this His anger is not turned away,
But His hand is stretched out still.
God will come and do exactly this in our midst in Oroville because our local government is exactly like the one this scripture describes. Knowing this we should be moved to the terror of the Lord to bring us to true repentance, lest these fearsome things befall us:
2 Corinthians 5:11
Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.
Only sincerely heartfelt terror of the Lord and the deep, truly humble repentance that results from it can spare those who have been participating in the wickedness in the government of Oroville and Butte Co. Some may repent and some will not. Although God has shown me no specific dates, we will surely see this scripture happen in real time in Oroville in the fairly near future. We can be sure that the glorious promise of the plan I shared with you at the top of this message will not happen until these others things have first come to pass.
Oroville, God loves us and wants to do a great thing in us, but we will not see it until we rend our hearts in true repentance for our great sins against God’s holy standards for righteous living and change how we live from day to day. Only then can we receive this great promise that he holds out to us. But if we will, then we will surely eat the fat of the land.
