Congratulating Our Cops On Trump, 11/12/16

Over the years I have made many posts about the problem side of bad individuals and practices that have happened in law enforcement in these years when their culture and function has been so negatively affected by our corrupt federal government. But I have always appreciated the men and in that role who do their jobs with integrity and decorum. Believe me, with my extensive experience of the courts and law enforcement of largely liberal California I am keenly aware of the difference between the bad and the good in that environment and appreciate the good very much. I am so happy for them that Trump is in. I am confident it will really help them do their jobs better and be better respected and appreciated. I am firm that the bible teaches us that living by laws is not the best way to govern a society and that God has, through Jesus, provided us a better way:

Galatians 3:1-13 New King James Version (NKJV)

Justification by Faith

3 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? 2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? 4 Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain?

5 Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?— 6 just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” 9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.

The Law Brings a Curse

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” 11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” 12 Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them."

13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),

However, I am also very aware that as long as we are choosing to govern ourselves that way, we need to uphold and appreciate the godly use of that function in our society and the men who work in that role. I do not espouse spiritual lawlessness and blatant defiance of laws. I realize that the distinction I am making is not understood by most but is it is clear in the Word of God for all who truly understand what it teaches on the matter. They can call me sexist pig if they want to but I do not believe that we should employ women in that role, not because women are less than men but because they are not naturally equipped by God to serve in that function and are best at other things, many of which we men are not so good at. May God bless the good men in law enforcement and to them all I say:

Gentlemen, I am so happy for you men in Law Enforcement that we elected Trump! What difference it will make for you to know you are backed up by a President with integrity and no longer have a one who is undermining societal stability. Thank you for helping us to elect Trump. Thanks for helping keep our communities safe. God bless you, gentlemen!
