The One Law of Love, 7/12/16

Any law made by man that does not have love as its source and its motivation is spiritually illegal and a violation of God's law. It does not matter how much men like it or want to believe it or make it a law on the books of their government or organization. Indeed it is Satan who is directing the generation of much of the law making of the world. He does this from his throne of iniquity:

Psalm 94:20 New King James Version (NKJV)

Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, have fellowship with You?

This false throne is his rebellious counterfeit of God's throne, one of the foundations of which is Justice:

Psalm 89:14

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face.

Psalm 97:2

Clouds and darkness surround Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

From the throne of iniquity Satan crafts laws and controls and oppresses entire nations. He loves long lists of laws with which he can ensnare and oppress, accuse, condemn and defile God's creation. But God is a God of freedom:

2 Corinthians 3:17

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

God is love and his spirit brings freedom. The one law of love sets us free but the laws of man empower sin:

1 Corinthians 15:56 New King James Version (NKJV)

56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.

Men love to justify themselves according to laws and tell themselves they are righteous because they are in line with those laws. This is not righteousness but the sin of self-righteousness. God is not impressed with whether a man's life is in line withe the imperfect laws of fallen men. But it is alignment with the one law of love that brings righteousness:

Matthew 5:20

For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

So care not so much for whether you are in compliance with the imperfect legal systems of fallen men but align yourself with the one law of love. If you do so and Suffer For Righteousness because the legal system you are under is not in line with God's definition of His True Justice, you will be blessed for it:

Matthew 5:10-12 New King James Version (NKJV)

10

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Let the one law of love dominate your thoughts and motivations, there is no iniquitous law that can resist it for God himself is Love itself:

1 John 4:8

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

God bless you.

The one law of love is also one of the central principles in what I believe God wants to do to give us New American Government.

It has been the norm for millennia now for 'civilized' nations all over the world to govern themselves with laws. Thus it is a very steadfast value in cultures throughout the world. With the exception of the Law of Moses, men make these laws and so do so based on what they believe and want. But God is God and he gets to define what laws have merit and what do not. Man likes to make laws according to what he wants to believe is true whether it has any morality to it or not. But God only respects his own laws, or better said, his One Law, the Law of Love.

Jesus and Paul taught us that there is really only one law, the law of love:

Matthew 22:35-40 New King James Version (NKJV)

35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Romans 13:8

Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.

Romans 13:9-10 New King James Version (NKJV)

9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
