Matthew 7:22-23 New King James Version (NKJV)

22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you;depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

It is not about the gifts of the spirit for any babe in Christ with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit can operate in the gifts. Nor is it even about the power of the spirit, for God will use a very messed up vessel to reach people who are honestly reaching for Him. The presence of power does not mean the vessel is mature. It is about Jesus and about becoming conformed to his image. It is about the fruit of the spirit. It is about truth and maturity, holiness and Christlikeness. Stick with the mature ones like Neville Johson. Don't waste time with the immature ones who are all full of mixture. Lots of believers are being led astray chasing after miracles and signs and supernatural power. But it is like one sister I saw once said, "Mark 16:17-18 in the bible says the signs are to follow us, not that we are to follow the signs." Be discerning about who you listen to. Not everybody who claims to actually deserves your respect in ministry. Bless you.

There is a lot of confusion in the Body of Christ in America on what our focus should be. But we need to make sure we keep the Main Thing the Main Thing. There are a lot of people who enjoying outrageous religious fame because of their gifts or supernatural power in their ministry. But don't be too easily impressed with a ministry just because they may have some of the gifts of the spirit or some evidence of supernatural power. That does not mean they really have much from God. Remember how Jesus said:
