Be Careful with Some Prophets, 1/1/19

Some who are considered to be real prophets are indeed called to be prophets are not necessarily mature in prophetic ministry yet. There is a man who is respected as a prophet by many in America. He has come to religious fame through his accurate prophetic words about Trump becoming president, and other accurate words. But people need to be very careful with the things this brother says, it is a very mixed bag. I believe God has called him to become a mature prophet one day in the future, if he will allow God to have his way in his life. But this brother is not there yet. Just because he accurately prophesied that Trump would become president does not mean he is a mature, dependable prophet of God to be treated as such. Not by a long shot. Prophesying accurately does not make one a God-approved prophet, truly in the office of prophet. Even Caiaphas, who helped killed Jesus, prophesied accurately:

John 11:49-51 New King James Version (NKJV)

49 And one of them, Caiaphas, being high priest that year, said to them, “You know nothing at all, 50 nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation should perish.” 51 Now this he did not say on his own authority; but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation,

Caiaphas prophesied accurately but did this make Caiaphas a good man, a God-approved prophet worth listening to for guidance from God? Absolutely not, he was an evil, corrupt Pharisee who likely went to hell when his life was over. I am not calling this brother that but he preaches a false message that "God is not judging America." In so doing he encourages the people not to repent. But repentance is the thing we need most as a nation. In a time when a nation needs to repent, as in America now, a mature, truly prophetic voice will call the people back to God in repentance, not say things that lead them to think they don't need to repent.

So, be very careful with those who are called prophets, they do not all bat 1000 at all. Neville Johnson is a good example of truly great, God-approved True Prophet of God who is trustworthy. Listen to the ones like him.
