Mustn't Kid Ourselves, 6/8/15

God is holy. These days vast numbers of 'spiritual leaders' want to talk only about the love of God as if he is never fierce in his defense of his holy standards for righteous living. But it is not so. Soon you will see many of these errant 'men of God' be dealt with very severely by a holy God who demands that those who claim to speak for him represent him accurately. Some of these men will not even survive the coming judgments. It is important to understand that the same God who wrote the new testament wrote the old and he has not changed, it is we who have changed. God still rises up in holy anger against wickedness just like he always has, no matter what is preached these days that he does not. God is coming to America like this:

Psalm 76:6-10 New King James Version (NKJV)

At Your rebuke, O God of Jacob,

Both the chariot and horse were cast into a dead sleep.

You, Yourself, are to be feared;

And who may stand in Your presence

When once You are angry?

You caused judgment to be heard from heaven;

The earth feared and was still,

When God arose to judgment,

To deliver all the oppressed of the earth. Selah

Surely the wrath of man shall praise You;

With the remainder of wrath You shall gird Yourself.

God's Holy Anger is one of the biggest themes in the bible. Of all the bible studies I have done over the years, his Holy Anger appears more times in the scripture than any other thing I have personally studied.

In righteous fury he is more angry than you can imagine over the fact that we in America have sacrificed 60 million of our unborn children to the devil and he will surely avenge their innocent blood. He is more angry than you can imagine over our approval of the abomination of homosexuality and other perversions like transsexualism. He will surely defend his authority to tell us what is moral and what is not.

Get ready America, God is about to show up and it is going to be the scariest thing we have ever seen by a long shot. He created this nation with a destiny that we have defecated on in the biggest way and he will do whatever it takes to get us back on track, including killing millions as he takes life for life to avenge the blood of the murdered unborn. God is not playing and is coming:

Then the earth shook and trembled;

The foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken,

Because He was angry.

Smoke went up from His nostrils,

And devouring fire from His mouth;

Coals were kindled by it.

He bowed the heavens also, and came down

With darkness under His feet.

And He rode upon a cherub, and flew;

He flew upon the wings of the wind.

He made darkness His secret place;

His canopy around Him was dark waters

And thick clouds of the skies.

From the brightness before Him,

His thick clouds passed with hailstones and coals of fire.

The Lord thundered from heaven,

And the Most High uttered His voice,

Hailstones and coals of fire.[a]

He sent out His arrows and scattered the foe,

Lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them.

Then the channels of the sea were seen,

The foundations of the world were uncovered

At Your rebuke, O Lord,

At the blast of the breath of Your nostrils.

We need to not kid ourselves about the trouble we are in with the living God whose moral absolutes are unshakable. None of us knows when our life will end and if we miss God in this life there is only eternal damnation and torment ahead of us.
