Perfection, 1/12/16

True christianity is about many things. One of the things it is not about is us trying to change ourselves from our fallen state and make ourselves perfect in our own strength. And one of the things it definitely it IS about is letting it be about what Jesus has done to make up for how imperfect we are right now, so that as we gaze upon him, we can be conformed into his likeness and become truly perfect the way he intends for us if we will let him.
