God loves us so much. He has nothing but good in his heart for us. He longs to be intimately involved in our lives so that he can help us have the good life he created us to have. It is not necessarily an easy, painless life, but it is a life that is full of meaning and purpose and fulfillment. And the pain that we do have he promises to heal if we will let him. It is a life that builds up eternal rewards so that when it is over and we stand before the throne of God to make an account for our life, we will not be ashamed and we will be rewarded for doing well. He wants to help us live our lives well so that he can reward us well in the afterlife in heaven: Matthew 25:23 God is a good is a God, so very very good. He is so kind and patient and forgiving and gentle and merciful: Ephesians 2:4 But that is not all that he is. He is also holy so he can very terrifying and fierce against evil: Joel 2:11 He is an awesome God and he is to be feared as well as loved and worshiped. 1 Chronicles 16:25 He is not to be messed with, you do not want him angry with you.
He has a plan for our lives and is determined to do everything to help
us live out that good plan. If we are not experiencing it then we are
the problem, not him. God is love: 1 John 4:8 Everything he does comes out of his heart of love for us, even when he is angry. He will discipline us if we are out of line. But he does it out of love with the intention of helping us get on the right track so that we do not self-destruct. God is so good. He loves us so much. He is the best friend and Father you could ever want. He wants to have a personal intimate spiritual relationship with you. If you do not know him, and you want to, then please pray this prayer today and begin a relationship with him: Prayer for Salvation. And if you already know him but would like to know him better and have more of his great beauty and peace and joy and love in your life, then please pray this prayer today: Prayer of Consecration. God bless you and thank you for giving God a chance today to show his great love for you. Steve Pursell, 11/21/17 | ![]() ![]() |
